This past weekend my friends and I traveled to Budapest, Hungary! We lucked out because the weather was absolutely beautiful with sunny skies and 70 degrees Fahrenheit every day. Everything was so well priced that it made the trip even more enjoyable (from public transportation to food to our airbnb).....I even had 4 rose gelatos over the course of the weekend:) Our airbnb was very centrally located in Buda. However, I think my favorite places we visited were on the Pest side of the Danube river where all the medieval architecture was located (my favorite site visit being Fishermen's Bastion). My favorite thing we did on the Pest side was the Széchenyi Thermal Baths. On the way back we even ran into a public pillow fight in a square because apparently it was national pillow fight day...who knew! All in all it was a wonderful weekend.
